Job summary

Flex Travel Solutions, a Montreal-based hybrid role, is seeking a BI & Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights across our travel technology platform.

You will design dashboards, develop data models, and collaborate with commercial, product, and operations teams to drive data-driven decisions. A strong SQL background and experience with Power BI and cloud data warehouses are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in BI, data analytics, or reporting required.
• Strong SQL skills; Python or R a plus.
• Experience with Power BI and AWS QuickSight; data warehousing knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and AWS QuickSight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across commercial, product, and operations teams to translate reporting needs into data solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Develop and document data models, metrics definitions, and KPI frameworks.
• Apply anomaly detection techniques to identify irregularities and data quality issues.
• Monitor data quality and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Support self-serve analytics by building reusable datasets and training end users.
• Work with data engineering to ensure pipelines and warehouse structures meet analytical needs.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business questions and strategic decisions.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with BI/analytics best practices and propose tooling/process improvements.

If our ethos resonates with you, we'd love for you to join us!As a technology first company, we're currently looking for a BI & Data Analyst to join our team.The Role: As a BI & Data Analyst at FTS, you will report to the Head of Engineering with the responsibility of transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions across our travel technology platform.
