Job summary

Envision Business Services seeks an Intermediate Bookkeeper to join our fully remote team serving clients across British Columbia. You’ll perform full-cycle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and month-end reporting while helping clients understand their numbers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (or learns technology quickly).
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritize multiple clients and deadlines.
• A positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Experience with BC payroll and taxes is an asset.
• CPB designation or working toward it is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle bookkeeping.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Accounts payable and receivable.
• Payroll processing.
• GST, PST, WCB, EHT and payroll remittances.
• Month-end financial reporting.
• Journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Supporting clients with questions and helping them understand their numbers.
• Working with modern cloud-based bookkeeping technology.
