Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or technologist diploma.
• Minimum 4+ years in Application Engineering/Inside Sales or similar role.
• Strong strategic thinking and effective communication.
• Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
• Analytical, customer-oriented and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and advise suitable products.
• Provide quotations and proposals based on equipment/services selected.
• Perform performance calculations and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure order execution from quotation to shipment.
• Follow up with customers to maximize conversions.
• Use CRM to track sales activities.
• Build strong relationships and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities during discussions.
• Act as technical liaison via meetings, calls, and email.
• Collaborate with sales to drive bookings growth.
