Magellan Aerospace Corporation is a global, integrated aerospace company with over 80 years in the industry. An exciting career opportunity exists for an Intermediate Rocket Systems Engineer at the Rockwood Plant, full-time and permanent.

You will support propulsion product development, lead engineering teams, manage programs, and liaise with customers and suppliers. Security clearance eligibility and aerospace quality experience are required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education from a recognized University or College; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EGM membership or eligibility for professional accreditation.
• Eligible for Security Clearance to NATO Secret.
• 5 years minimum experience in propulsion, energetic materials and/or defence products.
• Experience with aerospace quality systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical definition of new and ongoing production of existing propulsion and other energetic material products.
• Undertake the design and development of new propulsion and other energetic material products and related technologies.
• Prepare, review and approve technical documentation.
• Direct the activities of other engineers and technologists.
• Manage projects and programs.
• Undertake analytical studies related to design, manufacture, and operation of propellant rocket motors and related systems.
• Lead and/or support preparation of technical proposals including Statements of Work, estimates, and schedules.
• Liaise with internal departments, external agencies, customers, and suppliers to implement project activities.
• Provide customer support with respect to deployment, maintenance, and operation of propulsion products.

Position Summary
