Zusammenfassung

The Intensive Language Program Instructor will design, instruct, facilitate and coordinate language learning experiences, and assess language learner fluency development throughout an intensive program in a Yukon First Nation language.

Reporting to the Manager of Language Training Programs, this position requires post-secondary education in education or curriculum development and a minimum of two years’ experience in language, education or curriculum fields.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of Language Training Programs, the Intensive Language Program Instructor will design, instruct, facilitate and coordinate language learning experiences, and assess language learner fluency development throughout an intensive language program in a specific Yukon First Nation language.

Screening Criteria:

Post-secondary education in an education or curriculum development related field and/or equivalency obtained through coursework. A minimum of two years’ experience working in a language, education or curriculum related field, preferably with Yukon First Nations or Indigenous peoples. A minimum of low-Intermediate language proficiency in a Yukon First Nation language is a requirement of this position.

Salary:

Level 8: $79,187.94 - $98,989.96
