Zusammenfassung

ROCK in Halton region is seeking an Intensive Counsellor to provide high-quality mental health support to children, youth, and families in homes, schools, and communities. You will work with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans that address complex needs.

This role involves individual and family counselling, parent coaching, crisis management, and community advocacy, with flexible hours and a hybrid on-site/virtual work arrangement.

Qualifikationen

• Current (within three months) criminal reference check with vulnerable sector search.
• Ability to maintain flexible hours to align with program and client needs.
• Access to reliable transportation aligned with program requirements.
• Proficient with technology and virtual environments, including MAC OS.
• Second language skills are considered an asset.

Aufgaben

• Provide intensive mental health support at homes, schools, and communities.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Deliver counselling, parent coaching, and crisis management.
• Advocate for clients and connect families with community resources.
