Job summary

Springboard in Toronto is seeking a dedicated Employment Counselor for the Integrated Employment Services (IES) program. You will assess clients, create tailored Employment Action Plans, and support job readiness to help individuals overcome barriers to employment.

This full-time, contract role is hybrid with at least three in-office days weekly. Salary is $59,005.61 per year, until March 31, 2027, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in social work, career development, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field.
• 2+ years in employment counselling, case management, or workforce development.
• Strong written and verbal communication; MS Office and case management systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed Job Starts and KPI targets through effective client engagement.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop tailored Employment Action Plans.
• Provide job readiness support, resume/interview coaching, and liaise with employers for opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of client progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Employer Engagement and Retention Specialists to support clients across the employment journey.
