Job summary

Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto seeks an Assistant Program Manager for Integrated Employment Services (IES). 35 hours/week, in-person across multiple Toronto locations, with some evenings/weekends. Salary $60,000–$70,000 CAD annually. Reports to the Program Manager or Designate and may work at different sites.

The role focuses on day-to-day operational leadership, staff supervision, data reporting, and ensuring program targets and funder requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in program operations, community services or a related environment.
• Minimum two (2) years of formal staff supervision, team-management or operational-leadership experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Employment Services; must have 1-2 years’ experience in an ES role.
• Experience in delivering outcome-based employment services.
• Experience monitoring program targets, staff performance and service-delivery data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day program operations and service delivery across locations.
• Direct and supervise staff in delivering client services, workshops, classes and appointments; manage schedules and coverage.
• Monitor client flow, service volumes, attendance, referrals, waitlists, and performance against targets.
• Translate approved workplans into operational activities and provide progress updates to the Manager.
• Maintain compliance by reviewing staff documentation, client feedback and handling escalations.
