Job description

Integrated Brand Coordinator: Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies

Full-time

At Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE), we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that is representative of our community and where all employees feel they belong and can reach their full potential. We are Canada’s preeminent leader in delivering top quality sport and entertainment experiences and one of North America’s leading providers of exceptional fan experiences. We are the parent company of the National Hockey League’s Toronto Maple Leafs, the National Basketball Association’s Toronto Raptors, Major League Soccer’s Toronto FC, the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts, and development teams with the Toronto Marlies (American Hockey League), Raptors 905 (NBA G League), Toronto FC II (MLS NEXT Pro League), and Raptors Uprising Gaming Club, the Toronto Raptors Esports franchise in the NBA 2K League.

MLSE owns and/or operates all the venues our teams play and train in, including Scotiabank Arena, BMO Field, Coca-Cola Coliseum, Ford Performance Centre, BMO Training Ground, and OVO Athletic Centre. We also provide fans in Toronto with incredible live music and entertainment events, as well as exceptional culinary experiences through our restaurants (e11even and RS) and clubs (Hot Stove Club, ScotiaClub, and Platinum Club). Through MLSE Foundation, we have invested more than $45 million into Ontario communities since 2009, and with MLSE LaunchPad, we provide a place where youth facing barriers can use sport to recognize and reach their potential.

We achieve all of this through our Common Purpose - to unite and empower our employees to create extraordinary moments for our fans and each other. Come be a part of the team.

As a Coordinator in the integrated brand marketing team, you will support the development and execution of go-to-market plans across a brand portfolio. You will learn from your team on how to take an insight-driven approach, and help to bridge the world of business, creativity, and technology. You should be able to handle competing priorities gracefully, be quick to take action and adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and be motivated by data and results.

Marketing plays an integral role in driving innovation as it relates to growing and elevating the fan/guest experience, and shaping the future of how our brands remain culturally relevant to the masses.

  1. Help to execute go-to-market plans for a variety of initiatives.
  2. Shape new ideas and challenge thinking to help us resonate with our fans and propel our business forward.
  3. Balance multiple competing priorities and support revenue-driving activities by collaborating with different ticketing, retail, food and beverage, and sponsorship teams.
  4. Work with both our strategy & insights and business intelligence teams to assist in research and competitive audits, while also delivering ongoing campaign performance updates and associated impact to inform the health of our business.
  5. Work on specialty projects as they relate to your brand portfolio.

Note: Before reviewing the qualifications listed below, we want you to know that we understand you may not meet all the qualifications described and have other relevant expertise and experience. We invite you to please share this with us in the "Message to the Hiring Manager" section of our online application.

  • 1-3 years of strategic marketing experience in a high-consideration product marketing role with campaign development experience.
  • An interest in discovering and applying cultural and category trends.
  • The ability to juggle competing priorities with ease.
  • A highly adaptive and proactive mindset, quick on your feet.
  • Strong analytical skills and tools, and are comfortable using data.
  • Comfortable presenting and brainstorming with peers and more senior team members.
