Job summary

BC Housing, located in Burnaby, is seeking a Manager for Insurance Programs to oversee the development and delivery of insurance strategies. The successful candidate will work autonomously and directly guide executive decision-making on a multi-billion-dollar risk portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience managing insurance programs including self-insurance and claims management.
• Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee the delivery of insurance programs for BC Housing.
• Collaborate with all branches to oversee the insurance programs and resolve complex issues.
• Lead staff and provide key advice to Executive decision-making on insurance practices.
