An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Insurance Development Coordinator to join their rapidly-growing MGA team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with advisors and brokers while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for supporting proposal reviews, providing quotes, and ensuring service levels are maintained. We are currently partnering with a 100% Canadian-owned insurance provider. They are seeking a talented Insurance Development Coordinator to support their rapidly-growing MGA team in Group and Individual Insurance!
About the Position
• Develop and maintain relationships with key advisors and brokers by providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Support in reviewing requests for proposals prior to sending to carrier partners.
• Provide illustration requests utilizing insurance carrier software.
• Focus on ensuring service level to advisors are maintained; key emphasis on building rapport and relationships.
• Handle day-to-day servicing and inquiries, requiring quick response times to advisors.
• Provide quotes, illustration requests, and application follow-ups.
The Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships and work in a team environment.
• Superior organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to handle volumes of work and tight deadlines.
• Ability to be detail-oriented and always follow through.
• Analytical problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, teamwork, communication, and adaptability.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• LLQP License.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the insurance industry and insurance knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
