Job summary

MIB is seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our Ontario team. The role requires preparing quotes, establishing coverage, and managing client relationships across personal and commercial lines.

You will assess markets, calculate premiums, process required forms, and guide customers through policy options while supporting marketing initiatives and website promotions. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required for the role.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in insurance or related field.
• RIBO licence or eligibility is required.
• Willingness to travel and operate at a physical site.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets.
• Calculate premiums and establish client insurance coverage.
• Identify potential markets and ensure forms and medicals are completed.
• Monitor insurance claims and respond to client inquiries.
• Provide customer service and information on policy features.
• Sell multiple insurance types and develop marketing strategies.
• Lead and coordinate teams for website graphics, content and promotions.
• Conduct online marketing, e-commerce and website promotions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

TASKS

• Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets
• Calculate premiums

• Establish method of payment
• Identify potential markets
• Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed
• Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries
• Provide customer service
• Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features
• Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions
• Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
• Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers
