Job summary

The Co-operators in Langley, BC, is seeking an Associate Insurance Advisor II to support the agency with sales and service across personal lines and specialty products. This role emphasizes client-focused insurance solutions and proactive portfolio reviews, working in an office-based setting.

You will leverage a General Insurance license, insurance knowledge, and sales experience to grow business while maintaining high service standards and compliance across all client interactions.

Qualifications

• General Insurance license required.
• Life license is an asset.
• Meet provincial licensing requirements and maintain all licenses.
• Minimum 2 years insurance industry experience including sales preferred.
• Strong knowledge of auto and property insurance products and underwriting skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service personal lines and specialty lines products.
• Advise on coverages and policies that meet client needs.
• Prospect for additional products/services to benefit the client.
• Complete front line risk assessment following underwriting guidelines.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections.
• Meet individual goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity.

The Associate Insurance Advisor II is a key player in the support and development of the agency operation primarily through sales and service. This role utilizes a broad knowledge of The Co-operators insurance products and services including personal lines (auto, home).

How you will create impact:

• Sales, service and profitable growth of both personal lines and specialty lines products.
• Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
• Actively focus on prospecting for all lines of business by identifying and recommending additional products/services that benefit the client.
• Complete front line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines.
• Complete inspections and re-inspections.
• Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity and contribute to the achievement of overall agency sales and growth goals.
• Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer complaints and escalation issues appropriately.
• Proactively complete client reviews on the auto, home, farm and/or commercial portfolio.

• Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education in order to obtain and maintain all licenses.
• A minimum of 2 years insurance industry experience including sales experience is preferred.

Salary information

Expected salary/hourly range is$43,550.00 to $72,583.00CAD

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
