Job summary

AMA - Alberta Motor Association is seeking a customer-focused professional to identify insurance needs, explain coverages, and support client inquiries. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping Albertans protect what matters with a focus on service excellence.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 6 months in sales or customer service, with potential licensure support for insurance qualifications. In-office role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; CIP designation considered an asset.
At least 6 months of sales and/or customer service experience (insurance experience is a plus).
General Insurance Certificate of Authority Level 1 required; company will support training and licensure.

Responsibilities

Identify clients' insurance needs and advise on suitable products and coverages.
Explain pricing clearly, empathetically, and professionally to clients.
Support existing clients with policy questions and updates.
Proactively follow up on leads and inquiries to generate new business.
Build lasting relationships to retain clients and understand evolving needs.
