Job summary

HUB International's Richmond branch is seeking a client-focused Insurance Advisor to join our Community Branch Network. You will provide ICBC and private auto coverage at the office and dealerships, build relationships with clients, and contribute to a team-driven environment.

You will travel to dealership locations with your own vehicle, aim to grow production while maintaining regulatory compliance, and participate in ongoing professional development to advance within HUB's network.

Qualifications

• Level 1 General Insurance License required.
• 6+ months of insurance experience; ideally as a Road Advisor.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experienced in building client relationships.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sales drive and initiative.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel to dealerships.
• Asset: pursuing an industry designation.
• Working proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICBC and private auto coverage in office and dealerships.
• Assist in the office, help customers at the counter, answer phones.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Set and adhere to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan and Private Auto Sales production.
• Ensure compliance with insurers, Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules.
• Control ICBC inventory and correct handling of documentation and funds.
• Grow professionally and align with HUB values, mission and vision.
