Job summary

Western Financial Group in High River, Alberta, is seeking an Insurance Advisor to meet sales targets by quoting and cross-selling new business while building lasting relationships with customers and protecting what matters most to them.

You will work full-time (35 hours/week) with a compensation range of $51,000–$61,000, plus training for unlicensed candidates and opportunities to grow in home and auto policy expertise.

Qualifications

• No experience required if unlicensed; training provided for the right candidate.
• General Level 1 Insurance License an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email.
• Prior experience achieving sale targets in a similar or comparable role.
• Working experience in EPIC an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email.
• Assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy.
• Manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets.
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.
• Conduct sales calls for new business and make timely renewal calls for existing customer business.
