Job summary

Western Financial Group in Kelowna, BC is seeking an Insurance Advisor to quote, sell, and service home and auto policies. You will engage customers over the phone, in person, and by email, aiming to build lasting relationships and achieve sales targets.

The role requires communication skills, a General Level 1 Insurance License as an asset, and comfort with EPIC and multiple software tools. This temporary 6-month contract offers 35 hours per week in Kelowna.

Qualifications

• General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email.
• Prior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable role.
• Working experience in EPIC an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email.
• Assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy.
• Manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets.
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
• Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
• You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business
