Job summary

Westland Insurance Group is seeking an Insurance Advisor in a hybrid role serving Cochrane, ON and Timmins, ON. You will educate clients on personal lines insurance, manage relationships, and lead complex cases as a senior resource within the branch.

You’ll contribute to branch growth, provide tailored recommendations, and support other team members while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in insurance with a RIBO/OTL license and progress toward CAIB or CIP.
• Strong knowledge to tailor coverage recommendations for clients.
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service across phone, email, and in person.
• Assess client needs and recommend personal lines coverage.
• Manage renewals, underwriting, and policy changes with accuracy.
• Build lasting relationships and provide proactive support throughout the customer journey.
• Identify sales opportunities and contribute to growth via cross-selling and upselling.
• Collaborate with team, mentor peers, and assist with training and day-to-day operations.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $21.28 to $25.67 based on a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

As an Insurance Advisor, you promote and educate clients on a wide range of insurance products, take ownership of client relationships, and help us grow our presence and profile in the local community. You'll also serve as a senior resource within the branch, managing more complex insurance cases while supporting the development of team members

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance industry experience, supported by a RIBO/OTL license and progress toward your CAIB and/or CIP designation (financial support provided!)
