Job summary

iA Financial Group in Montreal seeks an Agent, Client Service and Administration to process client requests and transactions, delivering outstanding service within the insurance and administration sector.

You will issue contracts, respond to inquiries, manage banking changes, beneficiary updates, coverage modifications, and renewals, while maintaining accuracy and productivity. The role offers a hybrid work model with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds a college diploma in administration, insurance and financial services (an asset), or a related field.
• Has 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in administration, customer service, or insurance and financial services.
• Is recognized for attention to detail, autonomy, and analytical abilities.
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Has an excellent command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Has an excellent command of French, both spoken and written, as the role requires daily communication with French-speaking clients and handling of documentation in French.

Responsibilities

• Processing new insurance applications using our systems and tools
• Ensuring transactions comply with business rules and established procedures
• Issuing contracts and preparing the appropriate correspondence
• Responding to client telephone calls and written inquiries regarding policy administration
• Managing day-to-day transactions, including banking changes, beneficiary updates, coverage modifications, and annual renewals
• Maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy
• Escalating complex cases through established processes
• Actively participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for continuous improvement
