Job summary

SLB, following the ChampionX acquisition, is seeking an Instrumentation Apprentice for the UltraFab group in Rockyview, AB. The role focuses on hands-on instrumentation work in a fast-paced environment, with a structured four‑day workweek (10‑hour shifts) and company-wide safety and training support.

Ideal candidates will have secondary schooling aligned with industrial instrumentation and be enrolled in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

Qualifications

• Secondary schooling specializing in Industrial Instrument repair or instrumentation technology.
• Registered in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

What Will You Do:

• Work week and shift: 4 days/ week (10 hours shift)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary schooling specializing in Industrial Instrument repair or instrumentation technology or registered in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

Physical Demands:

• Able to pass a company drug and alcohol test
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task

Knowledge

• Equipment used at locatiChampionX safety best practices, policies, procedures, etc.
