Schlumberger Canada Limited is seeking a General Labour in Lloydminster, AB. You will maintain a clean, safe work area and support field operators on daily tasks within an energy technology environment.

Ideal candidates have a valid Class 5 license, demonstrate independent work habits, and communicate effectively. Training and license advancement may be offered as part of the role, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience working independently in a safe and reliable manner.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Maintain an organized, clean and safe environment.

• Assist other Operators Manually Manipulating Coiled Rod
• Help maintain accurate inventory
• Operate Hydraulic Rod Pinch Roller
• Perform Coiled Rod Fusion Welds
• Inspect Coiled Rod with Electronic Measuring Device
• Operate an Overhead Crane
• Utilization of hand and/or small power tools
• Other duties as required.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain an organized, clean and safe environment
• Comply with safety rules and OH&S standards
• Assist other Operators Manually Manipulating Coiled Rod
• Help maintain accurate inventory
• Operate Hydraulic Rod Pinch Roller
• Perform Coiled Rod Fusion Welds
• Inspect Coiled Rod with Electronic Measuring Device
• Operate an Overhead Crane
• Utilization of hand and/or small power tools
• Other duties as required.

Working Conditions

• Working at the Lloydminster facility dominantly
• Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime as required
• Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions

NOTE: In the Future, we are willing to assist the right candidate to attain their Class 3 License to Learn to Operate a Rod Transport Unit.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Drug and alcohol testing
• Fitness-to-work testing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience working independently in a safe and reliable manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.
• Able and willing to learn new skills and knowledge.
• Has mechanical aptitude
