Job summary

SLB, incorporating ChampionX heritage, invites applications for an Instrumentation Apprentice in the UltraFab group, based in Rockyview, AB. This hands-on role suits dedicated professionals with instrumentation knowledge who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will join a large, growth-focused company offering a competitive base salary and benefits, with a 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts and skill development in tubing, installation, and instrument prep.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary schooling specializing in Industrial Instrument repair or instrumentation technology or registered in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.
• Hands-on instrumentation knowledge required.
• Familiarity with power tools and tubing bending is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate with basic power tools for instrumentation work.
• Bend instrument tubing as required.
• Install instruments in skid packages.
• Prepare and assemble instruments for commissioning.

Position Details:

• Plant located in Rockyview, AB
• Work week and shift: 4 days/ week (10 hours shift)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary schooling specializing in Industrial Instrument repair or instrumentation technology or registered in the Registered Apprenticeship Program.

Physical Demands:

• Able to pass a company drug and alcohol test
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task
