Saskatchewan Polytechnic invites applications for an Instructor - Medical Diagnostics for a Continuing Education contract (CHEM 1809). Blended delivery with on-campus lab in Saskatoon, Sep 14 to Nov 20, 2026 (lab dates Nov 7, 8, 14, 0800–1100). Contract rate is $60 per hour.

Courses run subject to enrolment; additional lab instructors may be required. Licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Saskatchewan and current CMLPSK registration are required, with preference for current

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Saskatchewan is required
• Current registration with CMLPSK is required
• Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty teaching Chemistry/Urinalysis in the MLT program
• Instructor must reside in Saskatchewan for the duration of the contract

Responsibilities

• Select, design, update and construct educational courses and lab aids/materials.
• Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations for educational purposes.
• Supervise students in classroom, labs, etc. May involve travel.
• Evaluate students through the use of exams, assignments and observations and to record student progress.
• Counsel students and prospective students on matters pertaining to the program and job opportunities.
