Job summary

CAPREIT Apartments in Toronto is seeking an Instructional Designer to design, develop and evaluate learning solutions that align with our growth goals. You will bring together tools, platforms and content to create scalable, user-friendly programs within our learning infrastructure.

You will collaborate with SMEs, design curricula and learning paths, assess outcomes, and deliver engaging digital and blended training.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience using Learning Management Systems
• 3-5 years professional experience developing learning content across multiple platforms (including mobile)
• Experience with gamification and micro-learning is an asset
• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Education, or related field
• Certification in Instructional Design
• Certification in Adult Learning Principles
• Certified Training and Development professional or equivalent is an asset
• Proficient planner and problem solver
• Experience deploying learning projects into production
• Proficiency with MS Office and Teams

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions (digital and blended)
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to determine content needs
• Develop curricula and learning paths aligned with organizational goals
• Assess training impact and gather feedback to improve programs
• Provide coaching and training to staff on learning solutions
• Facilitate training sessions as required
• Maintain LMS materials and update resources as trends change
• Support LMS administration and vendor relationships
