Job summary

PLATO, Canada’s Indigenous-owned software testing and technology services company, is seeking an Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging training solutions for large-scale deployments, including Release 2.

You will work with project teams, SMEs, and stakeholders to translate requirements into ILT and e-learning modules, using Articulate Rise 360, Storyline, Captivate, and other tools, while ensuring accessibility standards and change initiatives are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Instructional Design, Training Development, and needs analysis.
• Experience developing ILT and e-learning solutions.
• Strong ability to translate complex concepts into learning content.
• Proven collaboration with SMEs, stakeholders, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ILT materials, facilitator guides, and e-learning modules.
• Apply adult learning principles to create learner-centered content.
• Develop interactive e-learning using Articulate Rise 360, Storyline, or Captivate.
• Translate requirements into effective learning solutions with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Create scenarios, simulations, and performance support tools.
• Align training with federal/public sector standards and accessibility requirements.
• Partner with Change Management to align training with readiness strategies.
