Job summary

Jobtailor in Abbotsford, Canada seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead and manage all installation operations, supervise Installation Technicians, and handle multiple installation projects each month. You will coordinate project schedules with end-user customers and maintain daily communication with factory, sales, and project teams to control labor hours and margins.

The role requires a clear communicator with proven leadership in construction or door automation, experience supervising

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• AA, BA, BS preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Prior experience directly supervising Field Technicians in the Door Automation/Construction Industry.
• Experience planning and completing contracted jobs in the Construction Industry.
• Prior experience supervising Administrative personnel for scheduling, ordering, and coordinating installation activities.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including different hours and weekends if necessary.
• Prior experience installing electromechanical products desired.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing relationships with General Contractors and End-Users across Retail, Healthcare, Government, and additional sectors.
• Experience working with subcontractors.
• Experience dealing with vendors and suppliers for proper ordering and timely product supply.
• Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings.
• Experience establishing monthly forecasting and results.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office and Baan.
