Job summary

Franklin Empire Inc, based in the GTA, is seeking a Training Specialist to lead sessions for new hires and staff, traveling across Ontario to deliver hands-on programs. You will develop tools, guides, and programs, acting as a go-to subject matter expert and driving ongoing improvements within the Training Center.

The ideal candidate has corporate training experience, strong English communication, and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of corporate training experience is preferred.
• French or electrical knowledge is an asset.
• DEP/DEC in the electrical field is an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Teams.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Job description

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually

Franklin Empire Inc supplies electrical components for new construction, renovation, and maintenance of industrial plants, residences and commercial buildings. We provide OEM and MRO solutions, lighting design, inventory management, training, automation expertise, and specialty services.

This role is based in the GTA with travel across Ontario and will be part of a training team, reporting directly to the HR Director.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead engaging training sessions for new hires and existing employees
• Support continuous learning and development across the organization
• Create and enhance training tools, guides, and programs
• Act as a go-to subject matter expert (super-user)
• Drive process improvements and training updates
• Travel to branches to deliver impactful, hands-on training
• Champion best practices and elevate user standards
• Track progress, produce reports, and follow through on actions
• Help grow and strengthen the Training Center

Main requirements:

• Independent, collaborative, and proactive
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Teams)
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently
• Ability to engage, motivate, and influence others
• Fluent in English (spoken & written)
• 1 year of corporate training experience – an asset
• French / Electrical knowledge - an asset
• Technical background (DEP/DEC in the electrical field) - an asset
