Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales professional in Winnipeg, MB to provide product knowledge on building materials to new and existing customers.

You will greet visitors, manage calls and orders, provide quotes, and assist purchasing, while ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service. You will collaborate with Shipping and outside sales, learn about new materials, and help keep the facility organized and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Inside sales experience is required.
• Administrative experience is required.
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced setting is required.
• Knowledge of building materials and home improvement products is an asset.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written) are required.
• Excellent computer skills are required.
• Previous sales experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers who enter the facility.
• Manage incoming phone calls, inquiries, and orders.
• Provide project quotes, enter delivery/special orders, and assist in purchasing.
• Meet project timelines to anticipate customer needs.
• Collaborate with Shipping to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met.
• Work with outside sales staff to stay current with project work and specialty items.
• Learn about new building and home improvement materials to increase retail sales.
• Ensure the facility is clean and stocked.
• Be an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable callbacks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
