Job summary

NAPA in Dryden, Ontario is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to serve as the dedicated point of contact for a large customer. This full-time, on-site role covers product sourcing, pricing, order management, logistics coordination, and relationship building to ensure reliable service and strong customer partnerships.

You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers, manage vendor-managed inventory, and maintain accurate records in company systems.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of inside sales or related experience.
• Post-secondary education in business or related field is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience with quoting, order management, product sourcing, and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and relationship management: serve as the dedicated on-site contact; respond to inquiries and build stakeholder relationships.
• Product sourcing: identify suitable products, confirm specs and availability, engage suppliers, propose solutions balancing quality and cost.
• Pricing and quoting: prepare accurate quotations; validate costs, margins, freight, and lead times; obtain approvals.
• Order management: manage full lifecycle from entry to delivery and invoicing support.
• Logistics coordination: source and coordinate transportation; track shipments; resolve issues.
• Vendor-managed inventory: monitor on-site inventory; replenish items; cycle counts; handle variances.
• Supplier and internal coordination: work with vendors and internal teams to meet commitments.
• Account administration: maintain records in systems; prepare reports.
• Compliance and safety: adhere to site requirements and safety procedures.

This is a regular full-time position and is located in Dryden.

The Inside Sales Representative is the dedicate point of contact for a single large customer. This role delivers responsive, end-to-end support from initial inquiry through product sourcing, pricing, order placement, logistics coordination, delivery, and issue resolution. The representative builds a deep understanding of the customer’s operations, maintains vendor-managed inventory, and works closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure reliable service, competitive solutions, and a strong customer relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer service and relationship management: Serve as the dedicated on-site contact; receive and respond to inquiries; understand operational priorities; provide timely updates; and build effective relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Product sourcing: Identify suitable products and alternatives, confirm specifications and availability, engage approved suppliers, and recommend solutions that balance quality, lead time, and total cost.
• Pricing and quoting: Prepare accurate, competitive quotations; validate costs, margins, freight, and lead times; obtain required approvals; and follow up on open quotes.
• Order management: Manage the complete order lifecycle, including order entry, confirmation, purchase requirements, back-order monitoring, expediting, documentation, delivery coordination, invoicing support, returns, warranties, and issue resolution.
• Logistics coordination: Source and coordinate transportation as required, expedite urgent requirements, track shipments, communicate delivery status, and resolve freight or delivery exceptions.
• Vendor-managed inventory: Monitor on-site inventory levels, replenish agreed items, maintain min/max settings, perform cycle counts, investigate variances, manage obsolete or slow-moving stock, and support accurate inventory records.
• Supplier and internal coordination: Work with vendors and internal sales, purchasing, operations, warehouse, credit, and finance teams to meet customer commitments.
• Account administration: Maintain accurate customer, product, pricing, quote, order, and activity records in company systems; prepare reports; and ensure documentation meets company and customer requirements.
• Compliance and safety: Follow customer-site requirements, company policies, contractual obligations, ethical standards, and all applicable health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need:

• Two or more years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account support, purchasing, distribution, or a related role; experience supporting a large or complex customer is preferred.
• Post-secondary education in business, supply chain, sales, or a related field is an asset; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated experience with quoting, order management, product sourcing, and supplier coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience using ERP, CRM, inventory, or order-management systems.
• Strong numerical skills with the ability to calculate pricing, margins, discounts, freight, and unit conversions accurately.
• Ability to meet customer-site access, safety, and security requirements.
