Job summary

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE – TECHNICAL SALES

Edmonton,AB | $75,000-$95,000/year

Our client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Montreal.

This is a good opportunity for someone with experience in inside sales, order management or technical sales who enjoys working directly with customers and has an interest in electrical and industrial products.

The person in this position will work closely with customers, the outside sales team and internal departments to ensure quotations, orders and technical requests are handled properly and on time.

THE ROLE

• Manage the quotation process from beginning to end
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and customer orders
• Communicate with customers and the outside sales team on a daily basis
• Answer customer questions and provide technical assistance
• Proactively identify solutions based on customer requirements
• Follow the production and delivery of technical orders
• Work with customers to resolve issues, changes and potential delays
• Review technical drawings and specifications
• Verify product certifications and requirements
• Check inventory and product availabilityProvide customer support before and after the sale
• Work closely with technical support regarding electrical equipment and intrinsically safe products
• Enter and maintain information in SAP, including quotations, orders, inventory and customer information
• Process product returns and RMAs
• Work closely with the internal team to ensure excellent customer service

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, order management or a related sales position
• Experience working with an ERP system; SAP experience is required
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Experience in technical sales or technical support is an asset
• Ability to manage several priorities at the same time

• Ability to understand technical information and communicate it clearly

WHAT WE OFFER

Salary: $75,000-$95,000 per year
