Inside Sales Representative - Genetic Sciences

This is a 1-year contract position with Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a leader in serving science. The role is onsite 4 days a week in Burlington, ON, with some travel to the US.

Job Description

As part of our Genetic Sciences Division, you'll join a team of Inside Sales representatives to grow our Digital PCR, qPCR/Real-time PCR, and Sanger Sequencing businesses within your territory. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and engaging key customers to meet sales targets.
• Maintaining knowledge of genetic analysis markets and applying product knowledge for consultative selling.
• Expanding visibility of our solutions through local marketing and prospecting.
• Building customer relationships and understanding their goals and challenges.
• Collaborating across teams and leveraging Thermo Fisher’s resources for business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Biology, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry.
• 1+ years of laboratory or customer-facing experience, with knowledge of qPCR, Digital PCR, or Sanger sequencing technologies.
• Ability to travel to the US as needed.
