Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking an inside sales professional to service customers by phone and email daily in Surrey. You will process orders, inquiries, and quotations, while ensuring high customer service levels. The role requires building customer relationships, stock checks, and proactive follow-ups on quotes.

Experience in the electrical distribution sector and AS400 knowledge are valued. The position offers a stable on-site role with growth opportunities within Rexel Canada’s banners.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum inside sales experience in electrical industry.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Be computer literate.
• AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is an advantage.
• Team Player.
• Product knowledge of the electrical business.
• 1-5 years at an electrical distributor experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis.
• Process orders, inquiries & quotations every day.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.
• Make at least four outbound calls per day to various customers to solicit additional business.
• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding ecommerce.

Job Description

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is negotiable. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
