Russel Metals Inc. in Halifax, NS seeks an Inside Sales Representative to nurture strong customer relationships and provide tailored product solutions within a fast-paced metals environment.

You will handle inquiries, support order processing, and identify upsell opportunities while coordinating with Processing, Warehouse, and Shipping teams to ensure accurate, on-time fulfillment for our customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Sales Support: Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with order processing to ensure seamless buying experience.
• Account Management: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, building value for customers while driving sales growth.
• Entrepreneurship: Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to identify and maximize all sales and market development opportunities
• Collaboration: Work closely with our Processing, Warehouse and Shipping Teams to ensure your customers’ orders are fulfilled.
• Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and customer feedback to anticipate market needs and promote new products effectively.
