Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep at our Fluid Solutions branch in Canada. You will serve as a key customer contact and consultant, recommending solutions, quoting, selling, and fulfilling orders for fluid solutions equipment and services.

The role focuses on walk-in and call-in customers, with collaboration across branch staff. You will process quotations, educate customers on equipment use, and help drive branch growth while maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of rental business for specialty engineered rental products and services
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts
• Establish new rental and sales accounts via walk-in and call-in customers
• Educate customers about proper equipment use
• Coordinate with branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations
• Maintain inventory records of branch assets
• Other duties as needed
