Job summary

Sysco BC is seeking an outside sales professional to promote Sysco's products and services within a defined territory. You will build and nurture customer relationships, research needs, and develop tailored solutions to achieve sales and profit goals, with occasional non-traditional hours to meet customer demands.

In this role, you will drive to accounts, manage deliveries, assist with training new employees, and participate in district meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of outside sales experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads based on company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop tailored product and service solutions.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend relevant products.
• Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
• Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage.
