The role emphasizes upselling, building relationships, arranging deliveries, handling payments, and delivering timely solutions while supporting project management and customer service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receives, researches, and answers customer questions regarding accounts, products, rates and services via telephone or in person; engages with counter and phone customers to identify needs and provide timely solutions.
• Identifies up-selling and add-on sales opportunities; communicates product features, benefits, and warranty policy information.
• Develops relationships and positions White Cap as a First Choice Supplier to customers.
• Processes purchase orders and completes paperwork; handles cash and credit card transactions.
• Orders products, arranges deliveries, and follows up on order status.
• Prospects for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
• Facilitates the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution, and customer service.
• Provides pricing by consulting the pricing matrix and other resources to determine the appropriate price.
