Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, emails, and walk-in customers professionally.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
• Provide pricing and inventory information to customers.
• Process customer orders with detailed specifications.
• Support Outside Sales Reps with quotes and orders.
• Organize showroom and stock shelves.
• Load orders into vehicle and ensure timely local deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Inside Sales & Service Representative to join our growing team at our ONO Work & Safety Nanaimo location. As an Inside Sales & Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include processing customer orders and addressing inquiries related to products, pricing, and product availability. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth sales experience for our customers by providing prompt responses, delivering professional customer service, and demonstrating accurate product knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls, emails, and helping walk-in customers in a professional manner.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and help resolve customer issues and requests in a timely manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
• Provide pricing and inventory information to customers.
• Process and enter customer orders with detailed specifications into the computer system.
• Support Outside Sales Reps in processing quotes, orders, and other requirements.
• Help in organizing the showroom, stocking shelves, etc.
• Organize and load orders into a company/own vehicle and execute timely deliveries to local clients.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years of customer service experience in the same or similar Industry is a definite asset.
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software programs
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to provide a current driver's abstract .
• Willingness to gain advanced knowledge of Fasteners & Tools products and services.
• Self-starter who takes initiative in getting things done.
• A team player with a "can-do" attitude.
