Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Counter Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team in Stratford, CT. This full-time role is ideal for someone with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or hydronic systems who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. You'll be the first point of contact for contractors, technicians, and walk-in customers, helping them find the right products, placing orders, and providing knowledgeable support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email with product selection, pricing, and availability

• Provide technical guidance and support for HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic products

• Process sales orders, returns, and special orders using the company’s order management system

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales counter and showroom area

• Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and product knowledge

• Collaborate with outside sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries

• Stay current on product offerings, promotions, and industry trends

• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in inside sales or customer service within the HVAC, plumbing, or hydronics industry

• Knowledge of residential/commercial HVAC and plumbing systems and related products

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment

• Basic computer proficiency (experience with ERP systems a plus)

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or product certification is a plus

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
