Slegg Building Materials - Cumberland in Cumberland, BC is seeking an Inside Contract Sales Representative to drive contract sales by managing relationships with commercial clients and providing tailored building materials solutions. The role requires effective communication, collaboration with external partners, and hitting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of building supplies.
• Available to work a variety of hours including weekends.
• Sales experience is an asset.
• Competitive spirit and results driven.
• Computer skills are required.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Quote projects, enter delivery orders, place special orders, and assist in purchasing.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable follow-ups and by anticipating material needs based on project timelines.
• Maintain merchandising standards in designated areas.
• Become a subject matter expert.
• Attend sales team meetings as needed.
• Learn about building materials including lumber, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, hardware, retaining walls, pavers, concrete, etc.
• Keep desk area clean and presentable.
• Respect and follow safety policies in the yard and on job sites.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
