Our Calgary office is hiring an Inside Sales Representative (salary + commission) to help us bring innovative solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Identify and close strategic advertising partnerships with leading brand / performance-based advertisers or agencies that help ensure long-term success for the company.
  • Develop and grow repeat business from existing advertising customers and partners.
  • Understand client needs, anticipate future goals, and help determine ideal solutions.
  • Manage expectations at all levels and demonstrate a proactive and consultative approach to addressing client needs.
  • Effectively communicate and partner with all internal staff members as a team to meet and exceed advertisers' needs and beat the competition.
  • Advocate for The MARC Group’s ad platform products, rich media solutions, and creative services.

Day-to-Day :

  • Prospecting and building a pipeline of potential advertisers, while meeting and exceeding annual goals.
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, follow up, and emails.
  • Close sales and achieve weekly quotas / goals.
  • Liaise with colleagues and management to increase and diversify demand.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; and recommending new opportunities.

Desired Skills & Requirements :

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably inside sales.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Fast learner with a passion for sales.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Sports-minded, competitive, outgoing, and energetic individual.
  • Must be fluent in the English language with no limitation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure independently.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively under minimal supervision.

  • Monthly sales contests that could be rewarded in gift cards or bonus commission.
  • Base pay plus commission with a sliding commission scale.
