Job summary

Westburne is seeking an Inside Automation National Proposal Specialist to support Rockwell Automation solutions for national customers. You will work with the Specialist and Sales teams to tailor proposals, provide technical recommendations, and help close orders.

Responsibilities include handling quotes via Dynamics 365, building strong customer relationships, and staying current with automation trends. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in industrial automation, electrical distribution, or control systems is an asset.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products is highly preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer needs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support Specialist and Sales team with Rockwell Automation and Encompassing partner products.
• Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to customers in the electrical, electronics, and instrumentation fields.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, assisting them in selecting the best solutions for their automation needs.
• Obtain orders/quotation requests through Dynamics 365, telephone calls, inside sales team.
• Follow up on written quotations to secure orders or reason for loss of order.
• Maintain system backorder report.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging automation technologies.
