Job summary

Westburne Calgary is seeking an Inside Automation National Proposal Specialist to promote Rockwell Automation products and support our national customers. In this role you will provide technical recommendations and build quotations, working closely with the sales team to win orders.

You will develop strong customer relationships, travel as needed, and stay current with automation trends to deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience in industrial automation, electrical distribution, or control systems is an asset.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support our Specialist and Sales team with Rockwell Automation and encompassing partner products.
• Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to customers in the electrical, electronics, and instrumentation fields.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, assisting them in selecting the best solutions for their automation needs.
• Obtain orders/quotation requests through Dynamics 365, telephone calls, inside sales team.
• Follow up on written quotations to secure orders or reason for loss of order.
• Maintain system backorder report.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging automation technologies.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to travel
