Join to apply for the Inside Account Executive - HR Division role at McLean & Company.

Position Summary:

The Inside Account Executive - HR Division is a hybrid Account Management/Account Executive role focused on ensuring our clients are serviced and renew year-over-year while leveraging personal and professional networks, working marketing leads, cold calls, referrals, and contact moves to new organizations. The successful candidate will ensure strategic alignment with HR Executives and the McLean & Company resource pool, including software, analytics, advisory, and research.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage accounts through regular service calls to ensure alignment and drive membership usage.
  • Work marketing leads and conduct warm/cold calls to book onsite sales presentations.
  • Support cross-functional communication with Research and Product Teams.
  • Grow revenue by identifying referrals and pursuing sales opportunities with former clients.
  • Identify client needs aligned with our Workshop, Executive Services, Consulting, and Training offerings.
  • Solicit feedback and testimonials from current accounts.
  • Maintain client details and account notes in CRM, following internal reporting processes.

Education and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education – minimum College Diploma.
  • 2+ years B2B sales plus University Degree, or 5+ years B2B sales with College Diploma.

Skills:

  • Account Management: Engaging clients on strategy, alignment, and operational needs.
  • Opportunity Identification: Growing accounts through referrals, networks, and reconnecting with former clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Managing multiple calls, documentation, and scheduling efficiently.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business language and concepts.
  • Active Listening: Effectively understanding client needs.
