Job summary

Bruyère Health Research Institute in Ottawa is seeking an Innovation Research & Program Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day research activities and financial coordination within the innovation team. You will support grant submissions, ethics materials, and data analysis to advance healthcare technologies.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will manage budgets, reconciliations, payroll allocations, and project learnings while engaging with hospital staff and stakeholders across

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 2+ years project coordination, preferably in healthcare/innovation.
• Experience with financial reconciliation across multiple funding sources.
• Excellent written/oral communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel required.
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage changing deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities related to innovation projects.
• Support grant submissions and ethics materials preparation.
• Perform data gathering/analysis and prepare project reports.
• Reconcile general ledger and payroll across programs and funding sources.
• Track expenditures, prepare financial reports, and manage budgets.
• Provide staff training and support for new technology implementations.
• Liaise with stakeholders and prepare reports for funders.
