PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Learn about medications produced by pharmaceutical companies and comply with Health Canada’s regulatory standards and Product Monographs for administration.
• Assess and monitor infusion and injection treatments as directed by protocols.
• Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, directions from the College of Nurses, and ISO standards.
• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar policies & procedures.
• Provide reliable availability for four 10-hour shifts per week , shifts may be within Monday to Saturday, between 7 : 30 am and 7 : 00 pm, with no statutory holidays or night shifts.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, physicians, pharmacy, and scheduling to meet timelines.
• Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
• Participate in specialized pharmaceutical trainings as required.
• Adhere to professional nursing standards and clinic operating procedures.
• Follow all health and safety standards as per provincial regulations.
• Complete ongoing and annual training within specified timeframes.
• Utilize digital platforms for independent learning to meet work requirements.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• One year of IV initiation experience preferred.
• Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification required.
• Certifications like ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA, and central line experience are assets.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and other computer programs.
• Reliable internet access, cell phone for appointments, and fax machine knowledge required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and travel within the designated area.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
• Business and financial acumen is an asset.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Self-directed and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage required.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
