Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
• Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
• Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
• Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints according to Innomar policies.
• Ensure reliable availability based on employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and KPIs.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, physicians, pharmacy, and scheduling departments.
• Coordinate with patients/caregivers for appointments and drug delivery to home and clinic.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
• Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, delegating tasks as authorized.
• Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
• Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
• Complete ongoing education and training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and be available on standby/on call if needed.

Experience and Educational Requirements

• Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
• One year of IV initiation experience preferred.
• Current registration with licensing body; CPR certification.
• Experience in critical care, emergency, outpatient, or homecare settings.
• ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and central line experience are assets.
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet, and communication tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel within the designated area.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-directed and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.

Salary Range
