  • Oversee the implementation and management of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, ensuring that all services are delivered in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage virtualized environments including provisioning, patching, and monitoring virtual machines to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive backup strategies for critical applications and data, ensuring that all necessary recovery procedures are in place to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Design, implement, and manage complex networking infrastructure, including routing, switching, and security configurations, to ensure high availability and scalability of critical services.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, including equipment manufacturers, storage providers, and other third-party services, ensuring that all contracts are up-to-date, compliant with company policies, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze current and future infrastructure needs, ensuring that all hardware and services are properly allocated to meet business demands, while also identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through capacity planning and optimization strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in datacenter infrastructure management with a proven track record of designing, building, and managing complex datacenter infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization and container technologies such as LXC and Docker
  • Expertise in disk storage systems, including SANs, NAS, and disk storage arrays.
  • Familiarity with high-performance storage and networking equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Strong understanding of cabling and connectivity standards (e.g. Category 5, Category 6)
  • Understanding of various network architectures and design principles to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Expertise in using software tools to monitor and manage datacenter infrastructure.
Perks:
