Job description

The coordinator of infrastructure operations is responsible for coordinating operations related to enterprise systems to meet the organization's requirements and ensure the integrity, security, availability, and recovery of the environments.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Work closely with hosting service providers to plan the evolution of infrastructure according to operational growth and industry best practices.

  • Work closely with hosting service providers, architecture and project teams to plan the evolution of infrastructures based on project-related additions, while preserving the current stability of systems.

  • Collaborate with hosting service providers to develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans in accordance with contracts (SAP and other critical business systems).

  • Attend follow-up meetings for services covering performance, improvements, quality, and processes. Ensure that the SLAs developed in contracts are respected and reflect an understanding of the discrepancies.

  • Work with the incident management, problem management, and change management teams to ensure that the hosting service providers are informed and adhere to the company's internal processes.

  • Ensure hosting service providers comply with vulnerability fix deployment practices according to the rules established by the BRP Cybersecurity team, as set out in the schedule published by BRP.

  • Ensure that BRP monitoring tools are installed and proactively manage alerts generated at hosting service providers.

  • Work with our hosting partners to provide recurring management reports on the metrics and performance of our systems.

  • Work collaboratively with the service manager to reconcile costs and billing associated with hosting service provider contracts.

  • In the context of continuous improvement, keep up-to-date with technological developments to ensure that the solutions provided by hosting service providers are optimal and meet BRP's objectives.

  • In collaboration with hosting service providers, participate in quarterly and annual audits (SOX compliance), as well as license audits, and provide reports to various bodies.

  • Serve as an advisor to the Infrastructure team, supporting both the ongoing enhancement of current operational processes and the introduction of new ones.


YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in managing IT service provider partnerships.

  • 3 years of experience in administration and system infrastructure.

  • Bilingual in French and English.

  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

  • The ability to provide technical support professionally.

  • Process-oriented and resilience with experience in ITIL concepts.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to determine root cause.

  • Highly motivated and driven.

  • The ability to work with technical staff and our internal clients.

  • The ability to work under pressure.

  • The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail is required.
