Role Overview

As an Infrastructure Lead, you will be instrumental in building, managing, and maintaining our infrastructure, backup, and operations to ensure the availability, security, and reliability of our IT systems. You will oversee key infrastructure programs supporting Interac services, manage and optimize on-premises, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments, and ensure system security and reliability.

Responsibilities

1. Implement enterprise infrastructure and network programs, overseeing daily operations aligned with business goals.
2. Collaborate with product, development, security, and operations teams to meet service standards and build scalable solutions.
3. Translate business needs into effective infrastructure solutions.
4. Lead IT planning to support risk management, innovation, and continuous improvement.
5. Design, deploy, and manage storage, compute, and virtualization infrastructure.
6. Monitor and optimize system performance for uptime and efficiency.
7. Ensure infrastructure security and compliance, supporting threat management initiatives.
8. Manage hardware/software lifecycle, network support, identity and access, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in system administration, backup, patching, and cloud management.
• Strong networking, cloud platforms, and infrastructure management knowledge.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Eligibility to work full-time in Canada.

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, ITIL V4, or related credentials.
• Experience in payments infrastructure is a plus.
