Infrastructure Engineers wanted at EdgeDB

Join EdgeDB, an open-source database built on top of Postgres, and help scale out our cloud infrastructure. As an SRE/Infrastructure Engineer at EdgeDB, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, with the goal of providing a seamless experience for our users.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure using Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault)
2. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure
3. Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement new features and services
4. Work with the team to develop and maintain our infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices
5. Participate in on-call rotations and be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues

Requirements:

1. Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
2. Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability
3. Familiarity with Postgres and SQL databases
4. Proficiency in Golang, with experience in Python and Rust
5. Experience with Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault)
6. Familiarity with AWS (with eventual expansion to other cloud platforms)
7. Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices
